Ramratanji Sarda is a great philanthropist and munificent. Ramratan Sarda Medical Help Society (RSMHS) was founded because of his inspiration only. He is Founder and Executive Member of RMSHS.

Migrated from Rajasthan in 1950, he is a leading businessman of Central India having interest in Cotton Yarn, Handloom Sarees  and Plastic Manufacturing.

He is the President of Adarsh Vidya Mandir Society, which runs many schools and colleges. He started G G Sarda English Medium School at Adarsh Vidya Mandir & Tulsidevi Sarda English Medium School at Anath Vidyarthi Gruha. He is also a Trustee of  Shri Venkatesh Mandir, Nagpur and Central India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur. He is a Treasurer of Nagpur Gau Anusandhan Kendra for the last  25 years.

He is Past President of Maheshwari Bhawan Trust, Itwari, Nagpur & Badi Marwad Maheshwari Panchayat. He built hostel for nurses in Vivekanand Mission Hospital, Khapri, Nagpur; Hall at Gurukul Vidyalaya, Adasa;  Hall at Ashram Shala School, Panchgaon, & Ramratan Ashokkumar Sarda Maheshwari Bhavanat Nimbi Jodha, Rajasthan.

Very recently he donated land for Tulsidevi Sarda Pragati Bhavanin Kalamna, Nagpur.
